COVID-19 Compensation for Victims- CICP Program

Did you know that Congress has established a fund to compensate families that lost a loved one whose death was the result of a “covered countermeasure” intended to treat COVID-19? The Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program, also known as CICP, may compensate surviving family members for the death of a loved one if they meet certain qualifying criteria.

The CICP program does not involve filing a lawsuit and it is not a claim against medical providers. CICP is strictly a benefit offered by the Federal Government.
