Have an old Maglite Mini I used to take hiking and camping, flood light could definitely be improved, I’ve been using a Petzl headlamp the past couple of years and found it works better in most situations.

I have a collection of torches that are way brighter than that £40 ones and they charge by usb and super bright

I will never touch a maglite again, i had several just corrode and break, poor built quality. love my sofirn, 4000lumens, rgb and cob floodlighte, its perfect...

Cheaper one is gonna do better like yeah you can pay more for a more powerful light and Damnn the more expensive one is so dim 😂

Maglite have always been disappointing.
Great actual design let down by performance. Led lenser is my go to
