To clarify, When you Tactical Sprint, make sure you STOP TACTICAL SPRINTING before you Go backwards and hold Circle. You will know you did it correctly if you see your leg glitch through your face lol. I recommend trying this on 3rd Person Mode! You should Flop down Instantly!

Tac Sprint then hold back then hit prone button all in a fairly quick sequence. 3rd person mode is best to see if you're doing it right.

Drop shotting just feels so toxic and just makes a lot of gun fights I’m in a race of who can keep aim while going prone first.
