After a long-awaited return to the pitch for Real Madrid, Eden Hazard has given hope to fans that he may finally be finding his feet in Spain.

It had been 203 days since Hazard last featured for the Spanish giants, but in Sunday’s match against Real Valladolid, the Belgian forward made a second-half cameo appearance, providing an assist in Madrid’s 6-0 victory. Despite a lack of game time over the past few months, Hazard’s performance showed that he still has plenty to offer his team.

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti was quick to praise Hazard after the match, stating that “by training well, he will have opportunities.” With renewed hope for the 32-year-old’s future in Madrid, fans are eager to see if he will feature in upcoming matches.

One such match is the quarter-final of the Champions League, where Real Madrid have been drawn against Hazard’s former team, Chelsea. Hazard made a name for himself during his time at Stamford Bridge, and will undoubtedly be eager to make a triumphant return.

Despite not featuring in either leg of the recent tie against Liverpool, Hazard was named in the squad for the match, suggesting that tensions between him and Ancelotti may be starting to thaw. Fans are hopeful that Hazard will feature in the upcoming Chelsea tie, which could see him face off against his former club for the first time since his move to Spain.

With just two matches remaining before the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final, Hazard will have limited time to impress Ancelotti and secure his place in the team. But with renewed hope for the future, Real Madrid fans will be eagerly anticipating Hazard’s return to form.

Not a supporter of any team he has played at but can appreciate his talent and he seems to come across as one of the football good guys, best of luck to him.

Hazard always lacked ambition. Even in his Chelsea period. He's the type of guy that you see smiling after an important loss. He loves football but doesn't care about the result. He doesn't care about silverware. He doesn't care about being in the best possible condition. But he's sooo talented. If he would've been more ambitious i think he could've been even better and also would've done better to stay in shape. He fucked up by falling out of shape when he arrived at Madrid and he never recovered from that. i think in his head he already retired. Hazard however is a very pleasent person to be around. He's pure fun and i think thats the reason he's still at Madrid. Being the goofball he is he has more like a dressing room function now to lower tension when the stakes are high and you can't underestimate the importance of such people. It's the whole reason Carson is still a goalie at Man City.

soy del barcelona, ya se que nos ganaron 4 a 0 ayer pero aun asi me gustaria volver a ver a hazard en su prime. Me fascinaba cuando estaba en el chelsea y quisiera ver ese nivel una vez mas aunque sea por media temporada

As much as I feel sad for him and I'm glad and happy that he finally played but truth has to be said that he doesn't look fit at all for a professional football player playing at real madrid, carlo maybe was harsh on him but hazard didn't help his case either and I dare to say that he was more harsh on himself than ancelotti was on him for letting himself go. It's clear in training that he's unfit physically compared to others thus its one of the reasons he's on the bottom of the preference order

I honestly hope he can get back to a position where he can play like he did at Chelsea, that Hazard was probably the best winger in the prem

Es triste ver a un gran jugador no sentir esa sed de jugar y ser protagonista, la tristeza camuflada en las risas dicen mucho aunque no parezca

as much as he gets memed on, he was still a world-beater in his prime. and on his day, he still has moments of magic. shame he hasn’t really lived up to his “galactico” status.

Tell me how an elite footballer playing for Madrid (the best team in the world) can have a beer belly?

For all his fans you should know that your guy just don't care anymore.
