U.S. Marines with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron (HMLA) 167 fire ordnance over Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Arizona, Jan. 23, 2023. HMLA-167 trained during a unit-level deployment. The purpose of the training was to increase the squadron’s proficiency in expeditionary close-air support, shore-based operations, and defensive-air maneuvering. HMLA-167 is a subordinate unit of 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, the aviation combat element of II Marine Expeditionary Force.
This B-Roll Package contains: U.S. Marines loading ordnance on a UH-1Y Venom and an AH-1Z Viper, U.S. Marines firing a GAU-21 machine gun and a GAU-17 machine gun, and U.S. Marines flying in a desert environment. Two air-to-ground rocket firings are captured on video.

That friggin GAU-21 50 cal is mean it looks like the ma deuce but spits like triple the rounds down range. The only scarier 50 is the GAU-19
