I personally believe that unemployability is a bigger issue than unemployment. If we give it just 1% attention to unemployability that we give to unemployment figures, the issue of unemployment will be solved automatically.

This is a very serious problem in the country. We will have to implement new education policies with major changes, not like NEP(which is still better than the current system but still lacks major changes in it). We are in desperate need of major educational reforms and this should be done as soon as possible.

As an employer, I can tell you that it's true. Population is not skilled enough to work in service sector, and they don't want to work in manufacturing, which is the backbone of the nation. They only want Gajjar ka halwa(government jobs). Such attitude will lead us no where. At core, we need to glamourise manufacturing jobs, like we do with service sector jobs. How? By incentivising content creators. Who will fund it? Manufacturing companies. But why? May be because government will incentivise them to do it. Just a thought.

I cant believe ki engineering students ka unemployable percent itna high he fir bhi quality jobs like software development me saturation aa gaya he, it is extremely hard today to get a job as a fresher in this field, imagine how many skilled students wont have jobs if we fixed the unemployability issue
