Update on my ligniperda colony!
My love for this colony is growing.. They are curious, very active and adore their sugars.. and besides being active, they are also very fast!

That's my hope for my C. Chromaiodes, boring now but will get more exciting as they grow. They lost like 10+ workers (old generation) but queen is still actively laying eggs.

Just a queen as of now, but around 10 pupae, same amount of larvea and a new batch of eggs since yesterday. But i fed the queen several times, even in her founding stage. I simply had to get rid of the mosqitos in my room. All in all i fed like 8 of them, they were alll eaten. But the queen didnt really accept honey or sugar water, maybe that will change in the future :)

Slower means less money spent on buying expansions on the nests 🤣 This is why I like the medium sized ants like Camponotus 👍

i have a ligniperda colony but they are growing very slowly i got upto 3 workers until 2 died, they are so deep in the nest i cant see the brood anyone got any tips?
