Some Parents Outraged After Drag Queen Speaks At School Career Day

A school district has apologized to parents, after hosting a drag queen as part of a career day.

My child is in kindergarten and thank god he’s doing remote and I’m able to see what schools are really teaching and I get surprise how much the school system has changed! This morning they gave us zoom link to join, we join and it’s a drag queen talk and going to read a book, I’m sorry but this is disturbing and scary for 5-6 years old children !! I immediately logged off the meeting and saw other students being logged off too! This isn’t something that should be brought into schools !!!

This was not appropriate. I back the parents. We don't send are kids to school for "diversity indoctrination". We send our kids to school to learn reading, writing, and arithmetic. If we want our kids to be exposed to that then we will do it. Stop ramming this down our throats.
