Thanks for all the videos, but the continuing classes in particular. I love all the detail and insight. This can't be seen anywhere else, and is a wonderful supplement to the live classes I attend. I can't thank you enough.

As I work more with different paints, there is a definite difference in colors and quality. Sometimes I practice with “student grade”’ but I love Holbein. Just more intense. Thanks again! I get so much from your insight!

This is really useful, most of us, I'm guessing, don't really think about this principle....until it goes wrong! Great tutorial, Liron! Thanks! 😀

Liron, this was fantastic ! Thanks !!!i. It's so dry here in Jerusalem that my washes dry almost immediately. But I'm playing with it all to make up for that. This video really helped a lot.

The brush, the paper, the palette...good to remember. Having presence of mind to tap off water after rinsing the brush was the hardest lesson to learn! Also I learned to always paint on the same good paper and use familuar brushes even when practicing. Change of paper or brushes is a change of variables which throws off your learning.
Could you made a longer, slower video with specific examples and exercises to practice?
Thank you for your work and for sharing these videos!

This was VERY helpful, Liron, can't thank you enough.

I never knew I should not have a 'wetter' palette than what's on the paper - this tip alone is worth gold! Also, keeping in mind the wetness of all 3 - paper, brush and palette - is also a huge 'aha' for me. I kept thinking my issue was only timing, now I see the multiple factors at play and this helps tremendously. This was another 'spot-on' vid for me - massive thanks.
I'm off to practice and play around with your tips!
October in NY sounds exciting! Any chance you'll cross the border and visit Toronto, Canada? Would love a lesson from you! Consider it, you'll love us Canadians!

Hey Liron, i was watching some of your other videos where you paint from a reference photo like the bowl of cherries. do you ever post links to the reference photos you use in the description? Or do you mostly take them yourself. Great moves, keep it up, proud of u <3

A great factor will be the paper and their sizing. I did a test recently with 10+ different papers and tried how the work with different techniques. Cotton papers let the paint move faster and further in my experiment. I would guess that you used a non cotton paper??

Hi Liron, how can I change a painted background to correct the colors? Is it possible using this technique???

It was way too fast for me. I’ll watch it again to let things sink in better. But Thanks for showing us the differences of water on paper, brush andin the palet.
