I like the mindset of not forcing all in on reanimator, but being open to it. As for the balance, I refer to it as milkshakes (bring the boys to the yard), viagra (bring the dead back to life), and bombs.

Yeah the stars really need to align to get the nuts mono-black all-in reanimator deck with all the cheap tutors, reanimation spells, entomb, and targets.... though it is definitely the best way to do a trophy speedrun when it comes together!

Couldn't you have blown up your own necromancy with the terrastodon trigger to get a 3/3 blocker? Great games btw.
