RIP brother.
Not everyone has the luxury of staying home during storms. I'm a delivery driver and we were all out in this today.

Rest in peace my man. You were a good man, doing your job in spite of the conditions. I'm praying for your family ❤

That Sainsbury's driver should sue the boss for allowing deliveries in a life threatening tree falling storm.

My heart goes out to the family and the friends of the man who lost his life ❤

Those were so impressive plane landings too, pilots really are cool.

The value of shareholders profit over human life, it was only 12-15 hours of intense high wind, so less than a fill day to catch-up on deliverys.

Not surprised people have got hurt/died. I work for a large UK company that part of the job is driving to multiple different location, no email, no management spoke about taking care or implementing measures to reducing risk during this time. RIP to these people.

Truly tragic.
Darragh means black oak.
My son works overnight between St Helens and Bolton. It rained forever, but the wind was not fierce. But a lad on the run to Wales saw 2 trucks fall in front of him and managed to miss them, but he doesn't know how. When he was almost home, my son videod a tree fallen on the road. There was enough room for cars to drive around it quite safely.

A few years ago in Argentina there was a storm that had winds that reached 120 kmh, it ripped bricks out of buildings and blew walls down all over the place.

There's 3 trees fallen in my area, and a wall fell on a car.
This is the worst storm here in my part of Wales in 20 year.

A man dies in his own van after a tree falls on him. And another man in a freaking ocean who rides waves in 93 mph storm not only survives, but enjoyed it. Morals: sell your possessions and buy a surf board. At least you will die happy (or something like this)

I live in Hutton and this happened on my road. I saw the tree go down and honestly I was shocked. Didn’t know it hit anyone until an hour later.
