I go in 6 days! While I look forward to not suffering in masks in the heat, I am pretty disappointed about the upped capacity at the same time. Especially without bringing fast passes, etc... I hope it is not miserably busy. The 35% capacity is one of the only reasons my family booked.

🙌 even if you choose to wear a mask outside, you can give yourself your own mask break wherever you need it instead of finding the relaxation stations.

I was there yesterday and it was amazing ! Several cast members commented on how much they loved to see guests’ smiles again. Tears were definitely shed being able to experience the magic and feel that things are slowly going back to normal

I wish they wouldn’t roll back the social distancing, it should be the new norm everywhere. I HATE having people step on my heels and breathing down my neck, there’s no reason strangers should be standing so close to one another covid or not

Today is our first day on property and needless to say we were ECSTATIC last night at 10pm when we got the notification!!! It is soooo nice to be without a mask while walking around on a hot day!

Here now and it’s amazing how things change over night! Yesterday you could see masked faces for days! This morning we saw so many smiles! It’s night and day! Even the mood feels lighter!

my husband and i leave for our trip in two weeks! we almost cried out of joy of thought of not having to wear a mask outside, and the increase in park reservation availability we were able to snag an extra ticket !!! THANK YOU AJ FOR THE INFO

We were some of the first guests back to Disney World when it reopened last year. I will never forget how surreal it was to see the parks so empty. The best way I can describe it is it was like we were VIP members and the parks were closed off to the general public. It was rough wearing masks for 10 hours each day (our then 2 year old did amazingly well) however the walk-ons for rides with no waiting was definitely the trade off. Still, dropping masks is such a relief

Great first step. My checklist for being able to come back now has one thing checked off! Now we just need: 1) FastPasses back, 2) fireworks back, 3) proper parades back, 4) proper shows back, and 5) America to actually allow international visitors from Europe/the UK to come to the country!

The first day with optional masks (Saturday) was my first day at the parks! It’s AMAZING 😭 It’s SO NICE being able to see people’s smiling faces and definitely helps with the heat! I cried when they announced it and couldn’t believe I can be at the parks with some normalcy! Heading to Epcot as I type this 🥰

We’re going in July with two little kids, and though they’ve been great with mask wearing this past year, I’m SO relieved that they’ll get a break from it in the Florida heat this summer!!!

I'm so glad mask requirements are starting to relax at Disney world. I can't imagine going there in June or July and having to wear a mask outside all day. We're going in November and hopefully even more of the restrictions will be relaxed before then.

We have a late August trip and thankful for this news. I hope soon they make adjustments to help ease the long lines and bring back some character meet and greets. With increased capacity they need more open. Seriously.
