How To Enable Face Grouping In Google Photos

Let's turn on face grouping or facial recognition on Google Photos so it finds and groups all similar faces.

The curious thing about this feature, and searching for information on this feature, is all the information is about turning it on and off, and what it does in a more general sense. However I find no information on how/where I am seeing photos grouped by face!

I had it working, and after I saw it doesnt create albums of new people, I tried to turn it off and right back on.
Now I don't have any albums. Can't even choose no face as "Me" (It won't show any options)

But I wish there is an option that allow grouping only specific people not random people. I use the "hide" but it seems it keep detect other random people.

Missing step. Settings > PREFERENCES > Face Grouping

Last week it had each individual face in a circle at the top of Google Photos, and their names were written under each photo, but now all those circles with their individual faces disappeared, and instead, people are bunched into groups, how do I get it back to the way it was individually? Thanks.

Google photos teams up both my sons under one face.. it is not able to differentiate between the two faces.. how do I rectify this?

Opps you left out a step for my program. From Photo Settings, I had to next click on Preferences, then group faces.

Adding a new person to the Google Photos recognition seems a tedious and buggy process. The intuitive design of the feature doesn't quite work the way the (+) plus sign suggests, which is why I found this video, but none of the content really addresses this bizarre interface.

I have listened to this and relisten 6 times, Following you step by step. I never get to a page that says settings nor can i go to the 3 dots (they don't exist) to open my profile. That, s it. Frustrating.

Without Folder and sub Folder allowed by google, It will be very difficult to organise albums.
