There is so much Jenifer Lawence does with this scene.. the shock of his ability.. the realization she inspired it.. how much she loves it.. then how it describes her.. and her realization of what she has done to this great guy.. how she feels about him.. and her desire to pull away cause it scares her. Its all there on her face. His perforamce of the song is incredible too.

This scene alone put the movie on a whole other level.

Notice how percy starts singing with a shy tone and doesn´t try to sing loudly, but when he gets on the vibe of the song he starts singing better. That is a great detail!

i was laughing and burning inside of cringe the whole movie but when i watched that scene i almost started crying, his voice is absoutely beautiful and you can see each detail in Jennifer Lawrence's face and that's the exactly moment she fell for him for real... wonderful movie

I can’t stop listening to this rendition. I’ve heard Hall and Oates a million times. Kudos to the genius to produce this song this special way.

Andrew Barth Feldman really impressed me in No Hard Feelings. Never know him until now but hope he'll get more big roles in the future to showcase his talent.

This scene and Jennifer's expressions made this movie what it is. Such a wholesome, emotionally moving & a rich story.

I couldn’t agree more. She sits there without saying a word and listens to a song. And just on its own it’s an Oscar winning performance. She has become an incredible actor

Its a really great and sad moment when Percy is realistically singing about his own story from beginning to end. It hit me when i saw Maddie hearing it and seriously understanding that shes doing it to him.

This scene was so subtle, sad, and beautiful. You really have to watch the movie a couple of times to realize how well acted and written it really is.

I usually watch movies with a fan running and subtitles.... BUT I CUT MY FAN OFF FOR THIS ONE. I watched this video multiple times a day. Homey really did his thing! Love this movie.

I'm not generally a huge fan of music in movies, and I don't know if a song has EVER been my favorite part of a movie... until now. The movie's fine, but probably not something I'd actively seek out again. Yet here I am, looking up this song on YouTube so I can hear it again. It's a fantastic arrangement, and holy moly does this kid (Andrew Barth Feldman) have chops. I'll definitely be looking him up again, too.

I remember when Andrew Barth Feldman competed and won the Jimmy Awards back in 2018. There was so much buzz about him in the theater community. So how far he’s come — sharing the screen with people like Jennifer Lawrence — is amazing.

This is one of those songs that the original is an absolute classic, everyone knows it and is an absolute hit. But until it’s played this way.. you don’t truly understand how beautiful it is. This almost exactly how 3am by rob thomas is. Anyone that hasn’t listened to his piano solo version of that song. It will move you the same way this does. Incredible.

THE PERFECT SONG to explain a unspoken plot point. He knows that she has ulterior motives. And in one song, he lets her know that he knows. Perfect scene.
