I usually use the smoke from my crack pipe to determine my case airflow! plus the meth hightens my awerness and reflexes giving me much better kill to death ratio while playing compared to ur average joe blow!

If you keep the enviroment around your pc and the pc itself clean with regular maintenance (i like to do it every 2 months with an eletric blower specific to electronics, but an air can is good enough if you know how to use it), negative air pressure is actually very nice to cool down the machine. For a pc sitting over a desk that is regularly clean, negative air pressure is fine. However, if you leave the machine under a desk, or in a room with carpet, or if you have pets that roam freely through your house, positive or neutral air pressure may be better. Also, you don't need smoke to check the airflow. Just use some strips of toilet paper, hold them over your air intakes/exhausts and see in what direction the paper is being pulled. Jay, excellent video! I'm about the same age, and as a home owner, have learned these things the hard way by having to have things like the furnace replaced in the middle of the winter. This is absolutely related to HVAC systems.

Great method to show the air flow!
But strictly speaking, positive pressure only means the average air density in the case is higher than the outside, thus have higher pressure. Only during the transition from negative or neutral pressure to positive pressure is there more air entering into the case than leaving the case. Once the pressure inside the case is stabilized, the amount of air going in and out will be equal again. If there's always more air going in than coming out, the air density inside the case will keep increasing without limit, forming a tiny black hole in the end, which is apparently impractical LOL.
