Vaughan Gething 'Almost Had To Be Dragged Out Kicking And Screaming From Office'

Vaughan Gething has announced his resignation as Welsh First Minister after four members of his government stepped down in protest over his leadership.

Gething lost a vote of no confidence last month after a controversial decision to sack a minister and questions arose about donations during his Welsh Labour leadership campaign. This turmoil led to the collapse of Labour's co-operation deal with Plaid Cymru in the Senedd.

In a statement on Tuesday morning, Mr Gething said he had "taken the difficult decision to begin the process of stepping down", and will now discuss a timetable for the election of his successor.

I am black, but as of may 2024. Rishi Sunak was the British prime minister, Humza Youssaf was the Scottish first minister and Vaughn Gething was the Welsh first minister.
All three of them were not white in a predominantly white country.

To make matters worse, none of them were elected.
I don't know of any country on earth that would allow that, yet the British are still labelled as racist.
