the oracle problem = in defi (decentralized finance ) protocols we need information about prices in the real world and thats why chainlink (LINK) is so important because it brings on chain (blockchain) real world prices without tampering . so their arguing that bringing real world prices on chain is impossible to do. but it is being done right now pretty well -_-

It's all Greek to me! Literally, they are Greek alphabet not Egyptian. The whole thng is ridiculous as you said, but Greek alphabet is standard for mathematical and scientific equations.
