what made Neteyam my fav character is his ability to stick up for his siblings whether its his siblings fault or not, and he does whatever it takes to be there for his family and protect them at any cost and which in his case the cost was him getting shot and dying in jakes arms by the hands of wainfleet while protecting his sisters and brother, a true natural born leader will do whatever it takes to protect their family and Neteyam is a perfect definition of a true natural born leader

Neteyam has four fingers. He also looks more like neytiri. Cool detail by Cameron to make him like that, because it shows variety in the family, and how neytiris genes shine through him. It shows that he is also like her while still trying to live up to his father. Loak having 5 makes him more similar to Jake physically but also in general. Loak is more rebellious and wild, kind of like how jake was in the beginning. Neytiri is way more behaved, and strict to her culture, and is perfect in a way, just like how neteyam was. I don’t know I just think it’s kinda cool how Neteyam was made to resemble both his parents equally, which made him a very balanced child, and sadly the one to kill off. He was their first child, a leader, and already perfect. Which sadly, but smartly, leaves more room for loak’s character to develop into most likely this great leader. It’s sad, but someone had to be cut off, and it’s for a good reason in developing the story.
