Ingredients:
- 4 onions
- 4 chicken drumsticks
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 5 cloves of garlic
- Butter as needed
- Saffron as needed

For the Barberry Sauce:
- 1 cup barberries
- 1 teaspoon tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon pomegranate sauce
- 2 tablespoons sugar
(Adjust the sugar to your taste if you prefer it sweeter)

Preparation:
1. Chop the onions.
2. In a pot, add 1 tablespoon of butter and then add the chopped onions along with the peeled garlic cloves.
3. Place the chicken drumsticks on top of the onions, and sprinkle the spices and saffron (dissolved in hot water) over the chicken.
4. Add a bit of chopped butter on top of the chicken and cook on low heat until the chicken is fully cooked.

For the Barberry Sauce:
1. Blend the barberries with 1 cup of water and then strain them through a fine sieve.
2. Add starch, tomato paste, pomegranate sauce, and sugar to the strained barberries.
3. Cook on low heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens to a sauce-like consistency.

For the Rice:
1. Rinse the rice and add enough water to cover it by about a finger’s length above the rice, along with 1 teaspoon of salt.
2. Cook on medium heat until the water is completely absorbed.
3. Reduce the heat and let the rice cook until it is soft and fully cooked.

🔹For Garnishing the Rice:
Mix a bit of saffron dissolved in water with 2 tablespoons of cooked rice and sprinkle it over the rice.
