It was a circular room, so no matter where he stood, it could have looked as if he was behind her. And she also was on his side. If this is all they can complain about, then you know Trump won big time.

I watched Clinton walked over and in front Trump, repeatedly. What I gather from this video is that if your tall, or at least taller than Clinton, then your looming and aggressive. Maybe your counting on people seeing this video and not actually watching the debate. Win if you can, lose if you must, but always cheat. Why not? You have nothing left to lose. No integrity and no credibility. Bravo!

I am not a Trump supporter, but this really sounds like more pro-Hillary propaganda from the NYT - Clinton was masterful and Trump was an ogre with Clinton coming down from the halls of Valhalla Trump up from the rivers of Hades. This piece is as vacuous as both of these candidates. I am continually disappointed from my once favorite paper of record.

How is her way of walking practiced against his way of walking being looming and aggressive?

This smacks of bias towards Hillary.

He was physically intimidating her closing the space between them to invade her space, and stalking her across the stage. It was commanding and showing leadership via violence, not strong character. Leaders either are composed and strong, or weak and bullies. He is clearly the latter.

once a newspaper endorses a candidate. it loses its competence and ceases the very reason for a reader to take whatever is reported by it seriously

Watching this in real-time is manipulative yet to watch it is retrospect is educational.

The most hilarious thing I've seen in a presidential debate

He wasn't looming over her. He stood on his side of the stage and Hillary frequently came over to talk with people who asked questions. Trump just stayed on his half.

I was undecided. Now I'm going Trump. He's honest and resilient in the face to abysmal leftist reporting. I like his tenacity. I'm voting for him now.

She came over to HIS side. Should he have jaunted over to her side when she came over so she wouldn't feel so disrespected? Give me a break! He could have sat down while he talked, however many people concentrate and think better while pacing, especially during stressful or important situations. He has every right to pace in his area if he wants to. He even walked away from her at times and turned his back to her(dangerous move, if you ask me, with the Clintons in the room). So it wasn't as if he were stalking her anything of the kind. You also have to take into consideration that he is not a lifelong politician like Hitlery is and probably isn't aware of all the politician etiquette, yet. He did great, he won the debate, period. And people need to stop being so petty and quit trying to nit-pick every little thing he does differently or, in the media's opinion, "wrong." We have much worse fish to fry and Hitlery's camp and her back-pocket media constituents know it, that's why they continually try to deflect her actual wrongdoings with petty crap about Trump. If she's not lying, cheating, deceiving, covering up her husband's rapes and infidelities, having people harassed and/ or killed, breaking the laws, or conspiring with foreign nations, then she's deflecting.

Umm...she was on his side of the stage and even if he sat down he would have been behind her.

Reading comments from two years ago, its insane how much polarization has happened since. This video feels so neutral compared to some of the media we get today, yet people back then claimed to be sniffing out heavy bias. By today's standard this level of neutrality is a pleasant surprise.

The entire theme of Hillary's campaign is "Don't let Trump be the President". She should rather close her trust deficit! I feel in the second debate Trump was calm and composed. Hillary had a tough time!
