I don’t think it’s dawned upon Sunny that America is not a country who values community. It’s very individualistic compared to other countries. I think that’s why we don’t have things like universal healthcare, paid sick/maternity leave, affordable college. The culture in America is more like “if I’m ok, why should I care about you, ” which is kind of sad

I was taught if "you look the other way ", you are just as guilty as the offender.

I love Sarah's sensitivity and generosity. She always has something interesting to add, and she does it with such grace and compassion.

Sunny said exactly what I feel. It’s so sad, and disheartening. I never understood how Hitler got into power in Germany. Now I understand. And it’s not just the racism, this country was built on racism. People have been overlooking that in every election since the civil war. But it’s everything else, especially COVID-19. People are dying. WTF

I love how Sarah and Sunny have different views and don’t come at each other’s throats. Queens 🥰

I'm with Sunny. As a foreigner I do consider this election to be a referendum on the people of the US. That number of votes for Trump signals the end of US exceptionalism. It's the end of an Empire, wallowing in decadence and greed. There seems to be delight in the name calling and sneering at anyone who doesn't agree with you. Trump was just a symbol of the spiritual decline of both the church in America and the people, along with the decline in decency and kindness. Much of the country needs to calm down and look in the mirror and ask themselves who they want to be.

Sunny and Sara both have points. As nice as selflessness would be, let's be honest.. Most humans are innately selfish, particularly when able to do so privately (ie. voting booth). The US has created this air of selflessness, but this country's history has exhibited less of it than we've led ourselves to believe. Hypercapitalism is the Cane to selflessness' Abel

I like Sarah. She gives a fair perspective and tries to see things from “the other guy’s” shoes. Keep it up Sarah!

I am watching nervously from Germany - the US is going insane. If this would be happening in any other countries, the US would intervene and there would be severe consequences. And there are still people believing this is the best country on earth...

If Biden happens to win Georgia, he owns Stacy Abrams a big thank you. She worked hard to turn out the vote.

As always, Sunny hit the nail on the head. Too much selfishness, indifference and hatred.

You can’t call people racists and bigots for 4 years and then expect them to come to your side. When in the history of politics has that ever worked?
