Metro by t-mobile/T mobile 5G Home internet 3 weeks later my honest opinion + Q&A

in this video will tell you my experience using t-mobile 5g home internet and answering what I think the most common questions.

I have two of them. I used it in hotels, when I travel. It works great. One is mostly used in Tx and Other is NYC.

For a time my gateway would crash during one month last year for some odd reason but restarting it always fixed it. The speeds are great in my area but i've seen many cases where people had terrible connection speeds and high pings. It depends greatly on the tower's capacity, time of day, the location of where you live, and your placement of the gateway as well as the signal where you live which can vary based on several environmental factors.
Also btw the differences between metro and tmobile with the home internet are with tmobile you don't have to have a line added and it's post paid but with metro you buy the gateway and own it and metro doesn't expect you to return it upon cancellation of service also it's prepaid meaning you don't have to worry about credit.

Since I already get my cell phone service through Metro by T-Mobile, I also get my home Internet service through them too. I pay a monthly cell phone and home Internet 'bundle' for $103.00, which is very acceptable for me. I like the portable Internet router too.

My metro by T-Mobile router box suddenly started buffering none stop last night and I can not watch TV or use my laptop. I have restarted & have done the reset button in the back. Still doesn't work. This is the first time it's doing this this much since I have had it in 6 months

I had it the first day and like at 11 pm it restarted again and then it worked 😊

After two weeks this does not work I was told my address is on a 5g area according to the Metro by T-Mobile map and the T-Mobile, on the website when checked on it stated there is no 5g, they sold it to me, after two week it stopped working, contacted customer service and they told me that in the are and city I live is only for LTE but on the map it says i am in a 5g area so this is a lie.

Yes. My T-Mobile WiFi has crashed 3 times in 5 weeks. Just gone! I unplugged the router. And then plugged it back in. Quick reset. And I was good for another week. 🤷🏾‍♂️

I have had the metro pc internet for a month and I see it fine for 2, 3 days and then almost all day struggling trying to connect and the worst thing is that it doesn't work well on my cell phones either
