Detroit Rapper making a difference 'buying back the block' and rehabbing homes in old neighborhood

Take a stroll through downtown Detroit and you will undoubtedly see an unprecedented comeback. But behind the corporate revitalization is another part of the city, home to three-quarters of residents who say their neighborhoods are still plagued by blight.

This young man was raised right! Detroit was absolutely beautiful way back in the day. The houses were pristine and welcoming. Neighbors would leave their doors open for other neighbors. i'm from detroit and this story touches my heart. what this young man is doing is something that has been missing for a very long time. african-american men investing our communites, in young african-american men and boys and showing them viable skills that will lead to viable futures. i pray that this will be just the beginning may God continue to bless him and his vision.
