Burn Test for Flame Retardant Polyester & Cotton
Показать описание
In this video, we compare the burning behavior of ordinary fabrics versus flame retardant versions of polyester and cotton. Watch the results of our burn tests to see how each fabric reacts to fire, including:
Ordinary Polyester: Burns with open flames, a fast burn rate, molten droplets, and toxic smoke.
Flame Retardant Polyester: Small flames, quickly self-extinguishing, minimal smoke, and fewer molten droplets.
Ordinary Cotton: Burns with flames, fast combustion, and no molten material, but no toxic gases or smoke.
Fireproof Cotton: Self-extinguishing, eco-friendly, minimal white smoke, and no toxic emissions when burned.
