Firestop vs Fireblock Expanding Foams, Flame / Burn Test

We allowed all three PU expanding foams to cure for over 96 hours. We wanted to see how some of the "Fireblock" foams burned with a torch vs a "Firestop" foam. The firestop foam put itself out when you pulled the flame back, the Fireblock foams kept burning. What a difference between the residential grade foams, and the commercial grade.

its amazing they can even sell the stuff that is burning! the whole point is to stop fire not progress it.

@madhattercig it didn't really "progress it" but it slowed it down heaps, otherwise the fire would engulf the whole thing like paper, but still, with a house fire the whole thing will stay lit for ages which is why it's so bad.
