Dishonored 2 - The Royal Conservatory - Robbing the Black Market

This is a complete guide on how to rob the black market during the Royal Conservatory mission in Dishonored 2. During mission 5 in Dishonored 2 there is no Royal Conservatory black market key. Instead the mission 5 black market key comes in the form of a back entrance that you can open up by completing a mini-puzzle in order to gain access to this black market.

Well great… I guess my game is bugged then… I figured out the wheel part but for me the hatch with the chain through it is closed. Wandered up and down and around the shop for a couple of times trying to find a shadow form entry or lever to open the hatch. So figured it’s was too hard for me to solve this puzzle and I guess it is as I’m not a programmer and I can’t fix this bug..

i was soooo worried I would not be able to rob the black market because when I first stepped into the black market and got the stuff I needed I saw the crank and I thought: well it has to be used for something then 10 min later i sat it somewhere so i could come back for it but then i forgot so i had to use the x ray vison to find it: then 10 min later i found it thank you soo much 😀😀😃😃😄😄😁😁😆😆

shooting the thing doesn't release the chain, it releases the hatch.. Also, alternatively to the crank, you can use possession on the rats on the side to get in. I did and it was a bit of a pain to get them targeted but ya, now I gotta go back out and shoot the damn hatch down..
