Terrific! This is exactly what's needed. All over the Earth. No need to wait! It's happening now. It starts with what we buy at the local market, or (better) at the local organic farm. It starts with us planting a little garden--or a big garden--in our back yard--and our front yard! It starts with sharing the food from our garden and fruit and nut trees with our naybors. This is how it happens. See the book, Not-Two Is Peace. This is the revolution--an entirely peaceful one. It is living by the principle of inherent unity--now and into the future.

Really informative. I love the three additional pillars: Soil health, Animal Welfare, & Social Fairness. Thank you! <3

Most people don’t know the work that goes into making quality food.

IMO the way to get this through to people (like the two idiots who posted before me) is to have them taste something truly delicious. Like a Dan Barber carrot. Great taste is the key!

All the food and nutrients we need can be obtained from plant foods. I have done well as a 100% vegan for 35 years, and many others have, too. Ag that includes animal slaughter is not regenerative – it's destructive and cruel. "Non-violence leads to the highest ethics, which is the goal of all evolution. Until we stop harming all other living beings, we are still savages” -Thomas Edison * "Nothing will benefit healthor increase chances of survival on earthas the evolution to a vegetarian diet."-Albert Einstein

So big question. How much more land will that take in order to produce the same amount of food? I'm all for it if it can keep production up.

It is so easy these days to go vegan and be healthy, and in my experience, healthier than non vegans. A lot has changed in the last 10 years since i've been vegan. People just have to let go of their ego's and realise that there is no need to harm animals (in any form) regardless of organic or regenerative, etc. Humanity needs to work on itself so much that getting over this "hurdle" of being vegan is really a tiny yet important step into the right direction.

i'm all for regenerative agriculture, but suggesting that free range systems are the answer to environmental problems is absurd. there is simply not enough landmass to do this in a non-invasive and sustainable way. society needs to change its tastebuds to more sustainable food sources that exist outside of today's dietary norms.

I’m sorry I cannot afford to pay 5 times more on my food budget
