Most underrated things about the Azores is the flowers you see by the roadside nicely taken care of.

The most beautiful island in Portugal, it is green all year round, and flowers all year round, this island is a paradise.

They treat the cows incredibly well there, one of the most humane on earth. They are not chained for long, they are usually allowed to graze and roam in large plots of land.

The 9 islands of the Azores ( where I was hatched many-many moons ago :))) ) is as close to paradise you can get on Earth, & if there is a heaven on Earth these unique gorgeous islands are it... every kid should be so lucky to be born in such a beautiful, safe, clean & very natures place... after viewing your video it made me very anxious to get back to my true home, its been to long it hurts ...Thanks for the up load :)

The cows are chained then moved to other locations to graze. They actually treat their cows extremely humanely. There's a reason they call them the "happiest cows on Earth". Most cows are free roaming there

Beautiful. My parents were born and raised there in Furnas where the hotsprings are before it became a tourist destination . I remember visiting as a child in the 1970s and it was like travelling back in time. I recently returned to see family as an adult . So much busier and much more modern & commercialized but the beauty is the same. A hidden paradise
