Sweet! I’m glad to see a more prosumer level on these type of tools.

For everyone pointing out the bandsaw wobble: it's supposed to be clamped or bolted down when in use. I have the same band saw and I built a short bench to bolt it to so that it sits at the same height as my workbench. Really great for the price and size

I bought a new Skil 9 inch band saw a couple years ago. 1st time I tried using it the drive belt snapped. It's still sitting there as I have since purchased a good used 14" Delta floor model bandsaw (28-276). Guess I need to find someone that wants a 9" band saw as I could use the space it's occupying.

I’m not so sure about that band saw… that thing wobbles really badly

I'm really happy that SKIL is coming out with new tools & competing with the other brands. But if I'm being honest, the band saw & drill press look pretty cheaply made. For that price tag I was expecting slightly nicer materials/features. Such a shame too since their power hand tools are really nice.

The drill press looks like a lot of runout, or were you using a crooked bit?

That 10-in bench top drill press is a great deal... 6.2 amp motor for that price is a steal...Craftsman has a 3.2 amp for $179 and the 5.0 amp motor is $350...so at 200 bucks that's a real deal...👍

Looks like some very nice tools for a home shop. I'll volunteer to take them off your hands!

Man I have been impressed with skil’s value proposition lately…..but not these tools…look kinda junky…the band saw and drill press look like cheaper versions of the ryobi counterparts (a little more plasticity) I have the skil 10” slider and 10” contractor saw and have been impressed with both of them for over a year now (daily use, still square and true) but these look really really cheap 😞

The front top bolt holding the case together on that grinder is really loose and almost falling out. Wonder if the other bolts are like that too... Must have been built on a Friday!

wow that grinder revs up I used to use my grandpa's when I was a kid and that thing had a huge cap on it. Full speed in less than a second, made the lights dim on startup. Granted it was only about 2000 rpm, but you couldn't slow it down. 3 amps seems quite weak for a grinder.
