There’s so many choices for movies at this point and the turn around is so quick that I think many just stay at home. But, it’s all about priorities. People that say the movies are too expensive are the same ones blowing money on Taylor swift tickets, going to sports events, eating out. A movie ticket arguably is one of the cheapest entertainment spots you can go to. Most tickets at least in my area don’t exceed 12 dollars unless you go in premium formats. Even then it’s cheaper than the other forms of entertainment I mentioned. I mean hell if you go out to a bar and grab a few drinks you’ll spend more than a movie ticket.

I'm glad Gladiator 2 is doing alright. I think it's a good successor to the first, but a bit late. Hopefully it can break even eventually.
