I’m getting a hamster soon and am extremely exited!! I think my hamham has the sable coloration. He’s got cream mixed with light and dark brown and it reminded me of a rootbeer float, so I named him Rootbeer!

My last syrian was a short haired sable. I got a new little boy in November and we thought he was a short haired black syrian with a little white chin but after a few weeks he surprised us and grew a wee grey skirt. He's definitely changed so much in the 7 weeks I've had him

i have a hairless hamster and i have a question... can hairless ones have markings? it looks like mine is banded (he looks mostly gray with a pink band across his back) he also has a completely pink belly

I once had twins in a litter, and they were SO vibrantly orange that I called them the redhead twins. They were adorable, but literally so bright they almost matched the shade of a carrot
