TORNADO WARNING vs. Pilots in Microsoft Flight Simulator! (Live Weather) VATSIM

Last PMDG 737 flight for a while I promise

Southwest Airlines flight 1217, Boeing 737-800 service from Jacksonville Int'l Airport (KJAX) to Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood Int'l (KFLL) in the midst of a SIGMET and NWS tornado warning. Wildly illegal flight conditions but sent anyways. Recorded in Microsoft Flight Simulator on the VATSIM network. ATC was offline due to AT&T service outage.

0:51 Jacksonville native here… in my experience, that’s how they always land at JAX. Especially in poor weather.

Live weather is a very cool MSFS feature. What'll be even COOLER is when it gets LIVE AIR TRAFFIC. Where the planes in the air are actually representations of live aircraft in real time via ADS-B and Mode S data. The day will come when we have that.
