This song feels as if it was written about me. And the music fits the lyrics perfectly. It's my favorite Maktub song. I remember when I first moved to Seattle in 1987, I saw Maktub at a music festival under the Space Needle, and I was simply blown away. These guys were (are) amazing. I really miss them.

From Hendrix, The Wailers, to Heart, Sound Garden Alice in Chains & Robert Cray to the locals we loved who never broke out like Mondo Vida,  The Rangehoods, The Allies,  The Cowboys, Duffy Bishop & The Rhythm Dogs et. al.I put these guys right up there with the best the Puget Sound region has produced! Soulful lyrics & groove, the slow building to crescendo and all out jam with the guitar surfing all over this obscenely addictive melody wave... Met the guys at a gig & they were as cool as they were talented. This song is as good as it gets to me! Thanks for sharing, I can't find my CD, peace!

Lol, that super Jimi-Hendrix guitar becomes more and more apparent the more you listen to this song. Niice. Great song for how I'm feeling right now, too. *sigh*
