The story can't be seen in the traditional way of a story. There are loops in logic that a lot of people try to explain away by setting symbolism around every corner. This isn't a story we're watching.... There isn't any sense in what is happening. We're not watching what is happening to this woman, this is an abstract piece of art given to us by the director, writer and amazing actors.

The reason why watching this review isn't "mansplaining" is because if people look up this movie wanting it explained, they are asking for your help. The whole "mansplain" issue - by those who aren't just actual misandrists - is that men will assume women don't know shit about something that they do and try to teach them. I mean maybe it was just delivered as a joke at the beginning and not in earnest, but I thought I'd mansplain it back to ya brotha <3

Very good explanation but I do think this movie is very boring and if a movie needs to be explained then the director did not do a good job at telling the story. And I don't want to hear it's because it's artsy or I'm not deep enough to understand.

How when we the narrative of dad walking out their horrible dead beat abandoning their responsibilities but when pointing out 65% of divorces are filed by women..it's because men the man was horrible. How come when a girl is drunk and has sex with people she's the victim when a boy is drunk and has sex with people he's the perpetrator.

I feel the point of the movie is to show movie fans that writers are out of ideas, so they come out with garbage like this. I would be embarrassed to be part of something like this when there are still good franchises like Insidious, or the conjuring.
