Better practice responses to family violence webinar

On 26 May 2022, the Essential Services Commission hosted a webinar on better practice responses to family violence. The event featured presentations by Safe and Equal CEO Tania Farha, survivor-advocate Rebeca Carro and Essential Services Commission chair, Kate Symons.

The commission also released guidance on better practice in responding to and engaging with victim-survivors of family violence. The guidance was developed in partnership with Safe and Equal, and in collaboration with the University of Melbourne's Safer Families Centre, the reports provide practical guidance on how to engage with victim-survivors.
