We lived on Okinawa for 3 years. They have such nice stores. Different. Fun. Good stuff. We had an Asian store near us in Northern Virginia. Central Virginia has none. Miss it.

I purchased and cooked with daikon radish for the first time last week, i made a mussels soup, and i was surprised by how easy it was to cut and how it had a sort of sweet taste to it! haha definitely recommend buying new/different produces to cook with!

omg i love rambutan, tho i’m not allowed to eat them anymore. I miss eating them straight if the trees back in my home country. in australia the flavours not the same 🥲🥲
