The story of FNAF is that Scott Cawthorn really likes driving Mattpat and Markiplier insane.

"Some of us are inches from figuring it out! And some of us think Gregory is a robot" That is probably the statement that better summarizes this video

My friends, we're gathered here today to pay respect to Jack's sanity, who unfortunately passed away due to the FNAF timeline...

I love the cutaways of WWE Springtrap beating the hell out of an obese child while talking about the murders. Really emphasizes how much child related deaths there is in the franchise.

"Dark Springtrap" is still the single stupidest thing in this franchise.

The books have a LOT of stupid shit, but the fact that Funko just looked at a silhouette of Springtrap in a cutscene, called it "Dark Springtrap" and made a funko, and that, somehow, that's CANON? THAT is the peak of stupidity.

“What the hell, I’m not even Foxy!”

I don’t know why, but this line got me way harder than I should have.

Vanny and Vanessa being the same person was something that I believed until Freddy said something along the lines of “Vanny sounds like Vanessa and bunny” which is so stupid that they pointed out the obvious connection and didn’t even leave a little room to speculate that I thought they were trying to use reverse psychology. The game’s story is so bad that it’s hard to tell if they’re gaslighting us or not

"If Michael is the main character of FNAF 4, why does he have toy robots all over the ground"

Excuse you, it's called collecting Bionicle sets, and it's a very grown-up hobby, have you heard the word of our lord and saviour Mata Nui yet, Jack? Would you like to?

“Can you carry remnant in a bucket?”
And in under 10 words, I have lost any sliver of hope that scott actually has a timeline in his head.

The line 'Micheal is physically purple, William is just morally purple' sent me for no reason

William Afton went from "slightly silly but grounded deranged child murderer" to just Master fucking Xehanort
he keeps coming back, he planned for literally everything despite being dead for much of this series, he takes multiple vessels and followers into his evil schemes, etc etc
if the next FNAF game is about WIlliam Afton inventing time travel to vibe check even more children and make sure his younger self knows how to vibe check them in the future i'm taking someone hostage

Fnaf 1-4 was a nice vase. Sister Location accidentally bumped into the vase and it fell on the floor, getting cracked in the process. Pizzaria Sim and UCN came and sealed up the cracks with paste. The vase is now a little bit uglier than before but it’s still fine it works.
Help Wanted then came in with a hammer. Then Security Breach was hired to make a brand new vase but instructions were mixed up and we ended up with a plate.
Does this metaphor make sense? No? Well good, it represents the fnaf storyline perfectly then.

14:02 "Hit the yoinky-sploinky Freddy, it doesn't matter if you didn't get a childhood." will definitely go down as a quote of all time

William taking over the Blob was not something I considered but it makes too much sense.

They should add Donkey Kong to FNAF, he would definitely kill William Afton for good

13:01 When the first FNAF came out, I always just chalked the Bite of 87 as one of those company public embarrassments. Just some term that blue collar workers throw around, like "The outage back in May" or "The flooding of '03". Never really considered it more important than just suggesting the animatronics are known dangers.

But the burgeoning fandom had little to no lore at the time, so naturally they clung unto what little there was and tried to make em out to be the biggest things ever. So naturally Scott just ended up going along with it and giving em what they wanted.

Sometimes it feels so strange how little control of the story afton actually has despite it being pretty much ABOUT him. Things just happen to him that happen to be beneficial or fail to impede him. After killing the kids, he got stuck in the springlock suit and became immortal. He then got trapped for 30 years in a backroom which pretty much is never brought up in the games even though this is probably one of the only times that someone actually succeeded at 'stopping' Afton. He then got released at random, burned alive a few days later, wasn't hindered at all, got lured into another place where he got burned again, only to be brought back as an AI and become even stronger again, again without him plotting anything, he possessed the two testers, one of the only things he actually intentionally did for the longest time, then after getting himself back into his old suit, for some reason, gets beaten by a kid and immediately gets eaten by the blob and inevitably will become more powerful again.

Afton is in so little control of his own rise to power he's not even a villain by this point, he's just a lucky guy who's trying to pretend like he knows what he's doing.

"Morally purple."
Also, yeah, if Michael was self aware of who he is while posessing Glamrock Daddy, "what the hell I'm not even Foxy" is legitimately something he'd say at some point and that's as hilarious as it is stupid.

i like the idea that the minigames are also caused by michael hallucinating while low on oxygen
springtrap is walking in circles following noises while michael is punching the wall over and over trying to put in a code
