Clark County Commissioners approve permits for new magnet school in south Las Vegas valley

The Clark County School District is closer to opening a new magnet school in the south Las Vegas valley, despite strong opposition from neighbors.

Advise for home buyers. Don't buy near large open acreage and expect it to be that way forever. ALWAYS, buy in an area that is fully developed. This might be a good time for objecting homeowners to sell as there are always those looking to buy next to a school. Personally, my view is that schools, parks and other public facilities are a neighborhood nuisance.
