Well they are getting closer… but until they stop dealerships from marking their prices up by $50, 000 and more. Don’t tell me I can’t sell the car I bought and put limits on it.

GM would have been better off waiting until the next year, prior to price announcement and just adding the Onstar subscription fee on the new base price and not announced how much cost it was adding, Then they would have advertised it as an included option. It wouldn't change the fact that we will still have to pay for it but it might have made less waves and not noticed as much. I guess this is a case of transparency costing them complaints.

GM may have been told by some attorneys that this policy may not work, so they lowered to 6 months? Will they lower the months again or completely remove this policy? Not sure this would hold up in a court of law? Stop dealerships from ripping off customers.

Justin, I totally agree with you, GM really needs to focus less on the C8 Z06 warranty terms, and the MY23 - OnStar mandatory fees, and start focusing on a solution to stop dealers from putting ADM's and greedy markup package installs on their cars; or even better, a true road map strategy on how to move to the Tesla order online "only" direct to the customer model-solution (remove the middleman = dealership)...!

The 6 months warranty will not discourage anyone from flipping the car! They will just not drive it and then double the price! Chevy is taken all the fun out of owning a Z06! The OnStar mandatory subscription is BS!

I’ve had heated seats in many of my cars and I’ve never used it one time. Ive hit the button by accident sometimes to turn the heat on the seats at it just annoys me more than anything, even in the winter.

Warranty issues. I think it's wrong to discount the warranty terms and conditions verses canceling dealers if they mark up above msrp on anything. It is time gm puts dealerships in their place and enforces modesty verses gouging with prices.

So, If I want a Z06/Z07 I'll have to also pay for OnStar. But also have to pay a dealers mark up. If GM can't do anything about the dealers. What's the use of buying a car that everyone one wants. And paying dealer mark ups as well as manufacture obligations as well. GM cannot have it both ways. Fix the problem for the people. Then we can see if the OnStar feature is worth it.

If you pay a dealer mark up….you should be free to do whatever you want with YOUR car. If you pay no mark up, then I can understand the warranty removal as a deterrent.

I'm going to need Onstar to remote start now? I'm getting closer to just giving GM the finger. I know someone else will fill my little gap, but maybe not years down the line. GM is leaving a seriously bad taste in my mouth.

The subscription model is complete BS. Software companies have tried this and I now use different software or don’t upgrade to newer versions . I have 2 BMWs and won’t get another if I have to subscribe to something. If nothing else, I just won’t buy a new car.

Soo glad now I did not order a Z06. Other than waiting years for this car, now GM will cancel my warranty if I don't like the car, charge me $300 bucks for stuff I don't want, and the car disappoints-low top speed. My supercharged C7 is faster than these things. As of today in Canada I would get stiffed by the feds for a "luxury tax" as well. Another 20 grand blown to shit.
