that is the whole point of its gimmick. In the Beyblade official channel, it can be use for any type. It's smooth and round blades can be use for deflection and low recoil while the big gaps are for smash attacks

(WARNING ANIME SPOILERS!!) the reason why balance is prob the most atk oriented, is bc 7-80 gp on impact drake is the "forbidden combo" and the strongest version of impact drake currently in the anime. i'd say ID (impact drake) 7-80 gp is a decent combo irl, just overlooked when you got 5-60 & 7-60 rush on the bey

Lets be frank im not saying your wrong but your not 200% right its a balance type layer having a round shape to hold off attacks and a oval body to deliver strikes it just so happens to lean to attack more than defense or stanimma
