I am from Mangalore I want to cma us but I completed my degree in 2022 and I don't have any employment so what category do I fall under student or professional
And one more thing there's a cma couching centre in my area they said this to me when I asked for cma fees

Due to a new regulation implemented by the Institute of Management Accountant (From Jan 2023) student membership is no longer applicable to the students of IAM since student membership can only be availed through full time UG or PG Program.
Requesting the students to co-operate as per the new guidelines established by the IMA US.

The students will be applicable for professional offer for 1 year membership.

The professional structure details is mentioned below:

Ima reg 27 k
Exam fees per part 30k
Hock material 13 k
First they have to purchase materials
Then will clear ima membership fees
Once the offer credited to their account, they can do the exam registration one month before exam"

Is this true is it actually like this or they lying to me is there any new changes to the regulations

Hi sir... I have completed my UG under my name with the initial ( only initials and not the expansion ) however the name under my IMA membership is my name with expansion of the initials. Would this be a problem once I clear my exams and during the time of my CMA Certification?
