Wonderful video. The comparison of how different the altitude etc etc is between the 3 just shows all the little quirks we have to deal with when we go with Garmin. I switched to Apple this year and just can't go back to buggy Garmin, my AW has been flawless and so consistent on all fronts.

Woah, is that Power in Lactate threshold exclusive to stryd? Or did it calculate using the Garmin's native power from HR monitor?

I originally wanted the 955. But I really want it for the maps for hiking and it looks like the maps are much more intuitive on the Enduro 2 or Fenix 7. And a flashlight on your wrist is literally the best idea I've ever seen!. I'm just afraid the Enduro will be too bulky as it will be my everyday watch as well.

Thank you for this review. Regarding the missing temperature on 255 I was under the impression that I can add it as a field on the watch face. Alternative is to download a widget from Connect.

I am using an amoled watch for the past months and thinking to switch back to MIP and I will buy a 255. I am starting to detect the watch flicker and I am annoyed by the gesture mode... for example in my TT position, swimming or when doing a plank... it's impossible to do the gesture mode.

Great video! Although it sometimes seems like you are disappointed or that you expect the 255 and 955 to have the same features as the enduro? Although you realize there is a reason the enduro is more expensive than the other two. It’s a more premium watch, so it will have more features and a better user experience. It would be silly for garmin to give every watch the same features and software just in a different case with different names

Torn between 955 and 255s. I want the 255s because my wrists are very narrow. But I also want the navigation on the 955. The question is could I live without the maps and navigation the 955 has to offer.

Looking at my first fitness watch, thought the 955 is what I wanted. Supposedly great value for what you get according to a lot of reviews. That thing is trash. The more research I've done, I've realized how stupid and greedy their business practices are. Tons of models, user experience is different on all as they purposefully cripple the software experience so they can justify certain price points. The 955 is a $500 watch as it is, that's not chump change. The music player on these watches are from the stone ages. While I see they do put out firmware upgrades for their products, it seems they can't keep up with what they break and fix on each update. Was going to buy on black Friday, but don't want to settle for software crippled devices. Back to the drawing board.
