Rebel forces have reignited Syria's long-simmering civil war, with largely Islamist fighters storming into the country's second-largest city. The Syrian army concedes it has lost control of large parts of Aleppo, which it had held for eight years. It's the biggest flareup in years in a civil war that has seen involvement by Russia, Iran, the US, Turkey and Israel.

Those rebels are different from the 1st round . They are being trained, equipped, and supported by Turkey . My biggest concern is how many of these rebels were Darech affiliates because they were complete unhinged psychopaths .

I’m no fan of Bashir but I think he’s better than the religious radical rebels.

These are not "rebels". These are NATO backed off-shoot of Al Qaida, which has trained in Turkiye'.

Russia: Got their hand tied in Ukraine
Iran: Got their hands tied with Israel.
US: Just elected an isolationist President.
Syrian rebels: "Hey guys, maybe we should attack now!!"

The only reason Assad lasted for so long was due to Russian help. Now that Putin has it's own problem, Assad is on his own, and will suffer the same fate as Hussein did.
