I’m canceling my Netflix today in solidarity with the guild. I’ll just watch YouTube until this gets resolved in favor of the workers. I’ll also be donating to their emergency fund so they can stay on strike. Years ago, dr. Sam Vaknin said we were in a civil war between the narcissists and normal people. I rolled my eyes. Fran, when you rhetorically asked, “what’s wrong with those people, ” the answer is, they are narcissists and they LOVE winning at the expense of others. Stay strong.

It says so much about Fran that she feels so passionately about these issues when she is one of the comfortable ones, but she knows her voice and profile are a boost for the cause. A true mensch.

As an actor and a writer myself, it means so much to me that this issue is getting such large platforms. It’s not about actors and writers being picky. It’s about working in an industry that used to support its employees, but now most of us can’t survive in it.
