Colorado District Attorney's misbehavior causes child abuse case to be thrown out

A judge dismissed child abuse charges against a mother from Cañon City because of comments DA Linda Stanley made to the local media.

Wait a minute. This isn't clear. Did they drop the case involving who murdered the child or did they just drop the case regarding the mother's poor choice in babysitters? This has to be an alert to reporters to not put too much pressure on attorneys for facts in a case that has yet to be prosecuted. Why I could not be an attorney. Facts are still facts but in the legal arena? Until a trial has taken place? Any speculation can count against them.

This all pertained to the mother, right? Her defense? How does this discount any evidence, if anything solid against the person or people who actually took this dear child's life away?

Judges and the DA are notorious for not wanting to try cases involving CA. The amount of plea bargaining too often hides a dangerous offender from being exposed to the public about how dangerous they actually are to our children. I hope this child's passing was not done in vain. That justice still will be in order, with different attorneys in the future.
