Tate agrees that actions have consequences. He respects muslims for killing people who are blasphemers. Tate's idea is that tolerance for everything means that you stand for nothing. Going by his own logic, he was removed. Simple. He wasn't tolerated.

I think that very grey area was him promoting people to spam on YouTube, I think for that alone made him eligible to get banned from a YT T&C standpoint. But I don't think it's a slippery slope, we have it with one or two controversial names every year, you get another big "but you can't, this is a dangerous slippery slope" but it hasn't, its always stayed the same.
