It’s crazy how quickly the market has grown over the past 2 years! This is still super competitive but calling it an SUV is a stretch! At best it’s a slightly raised hatchback/ “crossover”

Doesn't feel like 5 minutes ago that I was waiting to go to the launch of the EV6. Now its already old enough to have been updated! Lease deals on the old model, might be good very soon.

Sadly £45k new is still a large sum to find, despite the increased range.

*Doug ReVOLTA* has the best surname in the world for doing EV car reviews! And he ain't bad at doing the chatty bits either! 😁👍

Prices are bonkers. You can pick up loads of late 2023 GT Line for £30k on Autotrader. Might as well burn the money.

Thinking of going EV next, I’ve been eying up an EV6 or a Genesis GV60, the Koreans seem to be nailing electric cars at the moment 😊

Currently own the 1st edition E niro and will only update it when the EV5 comes over (already on sale in China) to the UK. As a taxi driver we need vehicles in the medium to large SUV but not EV9 sized from the kia/hyundai group ASAP. Cheers

I wonder how secure that setup using your smartphone as a key is? Given the levels of keyless theft in the UK I’d be worried about security

It’s a long car which is certainly noticeable when trying to park the car in the supermarket carparks. It’s a monster due to it’s length and usually sticks out of spaces.

I really wanted the EV6 as my company car but could not make the money work, though delighted with my MG4 I just adore how this looks and you know Kia have nailed the battery down to a tee

The range is now greater, not longer. 😇

I'd like something with similar styling but smaller (especially with regard to width). They always look stylish on the road.

KIAs' designers tend to get over-enthusiastic with drawing lines to the point that they don't know where and when to stop.

I'm sick to death of meeting the morons that buy these huge vehicles down narrow track roads. I know it's a generalisation but most of the drivers are clueless. They don't or can't do reversing and in the example EV6 in the video does not have a decent back window but probably has a camera that gets covered in shyte that also can't see. The UK is not designed for large vehicles be it SUV's, modern tractors and other vehicles. Back in the 1980s the Ford Granada was considered a large car. Park it next to most modern cars today and it looks small. The UK is not USA we need to bring back smaller cars.

Big massive car that can only carry just over 400kg. People are generally taller and bigger these days yet we’re pushing forward with cars that carry nearly 100kg less than a Hyundai i10.

How does it charge on 400V chargers such as V3's? Does it still do it by the idiotic idea of using the rear motor? Basically regening?

Once my lease on my Ioniq 5 ends this would be at the top of my list for a replacement.

But Deals on the NHS lease seem to be £100pm more than things like the Ioniq 5 and 6, BYD deal, enyaq and Renault scenic for some reason so may have to pass which is a shame, love the entire car package!
