i learned my first ever song on this channel, i played my first chord ever on this channel and it was 10 years ago, and guitar was only a hobby, but im making music now and whenever i come back to this channel to see how a song is played, i can learn it from the first 50 seconds or so, just by looking at what you're playing and understanding what it is, how its played, how its picked and all, thank you so much, you made guitar an easy thing for me, and now all im trying to advance in is music theory cause im starting to appreciate the whole blues/jazz side of music and wanna be able to improvise too

I've been reading tabs for 18 years and recently started watching a ton of Marty's videos. I always retain everything lightyears better with Marty. I honestly feel like being confident you're playing everything 100% correctly really opens you up to learning a ton of new songs.
