it is better for the battery to use, for example, 5W-12W than one of 20-30W, as the battery percentage drops much faster at higher W. I experience that on my iPhone 14 Pro, as well as the previous iPhones I've had

Finally! Now I can be sure which method (power supply/cable combo) is best for what (e.g. overnight, quick boost etc). 2 questions:

1. Why not just state the W?
2. Can it be used in a shortcut? (E.g. when put on charge deliver a notification stating if it’s slow)

Since ios 18.2 apple limits wireless charging to 10w. On ios 17 it charges my iphone 15 pro max with 15w (and not with the original magsafe), now with the same charger it charges with 10w (kowsi tester I used to measure watts)

My iPhone 14 Pro had the slow charger message and I changed my charger cable and put a new charger cable and the message is now gone on my iPhone 14 Pro . I use a 20W charging block

I got a 20 Watt adapter for 14 PM but still showing “slow charger” for last 3 days ? Don’t know why?

i get a "Slow Charging" notification up in the battery icon on my iPad home screen

What you doing on the highest bright setting for it make your phone really hot when you’re charging so if you guys make your phone brightness really low when you’re doing fast charging

i also experience that on beta dev 5-6 while charging on a powerbank, but fix beta 8.

Funny thing with 15W wireless charging (Chi2) it shows “slow” charging, but with apple 15W it’s all good. Bare in mind that my non apple 15W is certified for apple and shows apple wireless animation when connected, but still ios mark it as slow charging device…

It probably can’t measure charging speed until at least 1% has increased. Slow charging would take a while to do that.
