Who Really Holds the Power in the West Wing with Robert Reich

Former Secretary of Labor Robert Reich breaks down the presidential appointments that wield the most power in an administration, and which ones don't.

Joe Biden is in the process of appointing several hundred people who are critical to what the administration gets done over the next four years. But not all these people will wield the same amount of power.

All of these people -- cabinet members, White House advisers, and special appointees who run task forces -- formally answer to the president, but they work for the people, for you. This is where your power lies.

Let’s make sure Biden’s appointees never forget who they work for.

This video is very helpful. It's rare any of this is actually explained to those of us outside of Washington.

I want an AG that will go after all these criminals who have run rampant over the past four years.

These videos should be taught in schools. I remember going to civics class when I was in high school back in the 60s. I don't think that schools now even teach civics anymore. Too bad.

Man, handsdown the best video you've produced! I will have an easy time now to answer my co-workers (cert. Nurse assistants) questions, just showing your video. Thanks, and Thanks again!

My 16-year old son just loves you, Mr. Reich! He appreciates your insights & refers to your tweets to help get his points across in policy debates. Sadly, they don’t get much civics in school at all these days. Sending thanks for your videos from Kansas.🌻🇺🇸😊
